Payment Methods

Paying at Alassio Grey is straightforward and secure. Everything you need to know is below.


WHAT WE ACCEPT

We accept credit and debit cards through Shopify Payments, our secure checkout provider. The card types available to you are shown at checkout before you confirm your order, and include the major networks along with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal where available.

We do not currently offer instalment plans.


WHAT YOU PAY

The total shown at checkout is the total you pay. There is nothing else to settle, at any point.

  • Delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend
  • No handling, packaging or processing fees
  • No customs charges. Duties and import fees are covered by us, so nothing is payable on arrival
  • No subscriptions, membership fees or recurring charges of any kind

The only cost that could ever fall outside your checkout total is a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee applied by your own bank. That charge is set by your bank, not by us, and we do not receive any part of it.


CURRENCY AND TAX

Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) for customers in the United States and in pounds sterling (GBP) for customers in the United Kingdom.

Where sales tax applies, it is calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. For UK orders, any VAT or import charge is covered by us and never billed to you separately.


SECURITY

Our website runs over SSL encryption throughout, and payment is processed inside Shopify's secure environment, certified to the PCI DSS standard used across the payments industry.

We never receive, see or store your full card number or security code. Those details go directly into the encrypted checkout and are handled by the payment provider.

We will never ask for your password, card security code or full banking details by email, telephone or text message. If you receive a message claiming to be from us and asking for any of those, do not reply to it. Forward it to contact@alassiogrey.com and we will look into it.


WHEN YOU ARE CHARGED

Payment is taken when you place your order. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been accepted and dispatched.

If we cannot fulfil your order, for example because an item is out of stock or a pricing error occurred, we contact you and refund the full amount without delay.


IF YOUR PAYMENT IS DECLINED

Declines are decided by your card issuer, not by us, and we do not see the specific reason. The most common causes are:

  • Insufficient available balance or credit limit
  • Card details entered incorrectly, including the billing address
  • A card that is expired, blocked, or not enabled for online purchases
  • A precautionary fraud block applied by your bank

Check your details and try again, use another card, or contact your bank. If the payment is not authorized, no order is created and no money is taken.


DISCOUNT CODES

Discount codes must be entered in the field provided at checkout, before you confirm your order. We cannot apply a code after an order has been placed.

Unless expressly stated, codes cannot be combined. They are for personal use, are not transferable and have no cash value.

Items bought with a discount code carry exactly the same rights as items bought at full price.


CANCELLING AND REFUNDS

You can cancel at no cost at any time before dispatch. You also have 30 days from delivery to return an item for any reason, and UK customers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 days of our confirmation, or within 14 days for UK orders as the law requires. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the credit.
